January 2010: Bridget
Q. First off, how did you become a Doctor Who fanatic?
A. I was shown the David Tennant/Catherine Tate Comic Relief sketch by a friend. I laughed and decided to check out Doctor Who. I came across Human Nature and more David Tennant and the rest is history!
Q. What did you think of the Tenth Doctor's regeneration two-parter?
A. I loved it. I cried. I found it heartbreaking and wonderful all at once. I found myself talking to the screen, telling The Doctor I didn't want him to go either, after all 10 is my Doctor.
Q. Are you looking forward to seeing Series 5 with the Eleventh Doctor? What are your expectations?
A. I am a reluctant viewer to Series 5. After all this was my first regeneration. But I will give it a chance. I am interested to see what traits 11 possesses. Will there be glimpses of 10? I expect quality storytelling with a few scares thrown in.
Q. If you could pick one (let's not be greedy!) of the Tenth Doctor's companions to continue travelling with the Eleventh Doctor, who would you pick and why?
A. Oooh... I would choose Wilfred Mott! I would just love to see two old men travelling the Universe together. Also Wilf can experience what Donna no longer can.
Q. Which past Doctor Who villain has scared you the most and why?
A. Sky Silvestry from Midnight. I don't think I could handing having who I am taken away from me!
Q. The dreaded four knocks was... Wilf! Did you see it coming?
A. No!!! Awesome piece of storytelling, marvellously played out. The acting by David Tennant when the Doctor hears those knocks - amazing!!!
Q. Finally, what would you do if you had your very own TARDIS?
A. I would go back to when my father was still living and take him to experience all the places and things we always spoke about doing in the future.
Q. Is there anything else you would like to add?
A. It takes all kinds of people to make up the Whoniverse, after all I am pretty sure I am not the demographic the show had in mind.
